Lady Gators Drop Pair to South Effingham

There was no calm after the storm for the Lady Gators as they struggles at home against the Lady Mustangs of South Effingham County High School. The Lady Gators lost two straight matches against the Lady Mustangs. Yesterday's games were make-up games that were cancelled due to Hurricane Irma. In both matches, the Lady Mustangs defeated the Lady Gators by the exact same scores of 25-7 and 25-11. "I knew it was going to be a tough night the minute the first ball was served. We struggled in every aspect of the game," said Head Coach Alesia Gibson. "Due to the hurricane, we have been unable to practice, and that hurt us in several ways. With practice, or no practice, we are a better team than what we displayed on that court yesterday," said Coach Gibson. "Overall, we were just outplayed by a very talented team, the Lady Mustangs."
