Lady Gators Drop Match to New Hampsead

The Lady Gators traveled over to New Hampstead High School yesterday for a three team playdate against the Lady Phoenix and the Lady Pirates of Brunswick High School. The Lady Gators outcome was the same as Tuesday's results. The Lady Gator's would lose to the Lady Phoenix by the scores of 25-19 and 25-18. "As a team, we didn't play well at all." said Coach Alesia Gibson. " We struggled in every aspect of the game." However, in the second match, the Lady gators would go on to defeat the Lady Pirates. "We struggled in this match as well, nevertheless, somehow, someway, we were able to battle and prevail in the match." The Lady Gators would win the first game, 25-18, but the Lady Pirates would fight back to win the second game, 27-25. The Lady Gators would prevail in the third game by the score of 25-20. This win would secure the match for the Lady Gators. The Lady Gators are now 11-3 for the season.

The Lady Gators' Varsity and JV team will play their next game on Tuesday, September, 5th. They will take on the Lady Trojans of Brooks County and the Lady Wildcats of Valdosta. We, the Lady Gators will be honor our seniors on this night. The Lady Dawgs of Waycross Middle School, will play their cross town rival, the Lady Gators of Ware Middle. Please come out and support all the student athletes on Tuesday.
