Lady Gators Roll to 13-0 on the Season with 56-18 win over South Effingham

The Lady Gators remain unbeaten at 13-0 on the season as they crushed South Effingham in the opening Region game for both schools 56-18. Senior Lizzie Shubert had the hot hand Friday night leading all scorers with 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. 

The Lady Gators opened up 20-4 first quarter lead and never took their foot off the gas as they eased into the locker rooms with a 33-8 leadat the half. Ware outscored the Lady Mustangs13-8 in the third quarter and 10-8 in the fourth to rack up their 13th win of the season.

Other scorers for the Lady Gators were Wayneshia Coleman with 11 points, Shondell Vickers and Arviniece McDonald with 6 points each, Kennedy Sanders with 5, Mataea Boyd, Rodniqua Davis and Latreona Holmes with 4 and Kelsey Davis.

The Lady Gators will host the Charlton County Indians tonight in the Swamp at 6:00 followed by the boys game at 7:30.
